Representatives from Ceramic Tile Merchants were pleased to attend Max Pimlott and Emily Easterby’s fundraising dinner and dance ahead of the Macmillan Charity Raceday.
Ceramic Tile Merchants has lent its support to Max for the race, at York Racecourse on 13 June, and they all dressed in their finery for the event at the same venue, which was attended by 200 people.
There was an auction of 17 lots to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, with Garry from Ceramic Tile Merchants being successful in his bid for ‘A raceday with the Clerk of the Course and Assistant Clerk of the Course at York Racecourse for two, including breakfast and lunch’.
A dinner of salmon and prawn mousse on smoked haddock risotto, roast chicken with potatoes and vegetables, and a chocolate and griottine brioche pudding with cherry syrup was served to the guests.
A raffle was also drawn on the night, with the whole occasion raising £12,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
