Underfloor Heating For Your Home

9th December 2019

Now that winter has arrived and the cold temperatures are making it harder to get up in the mornings, maybe you’re looking for an efficient way to heat your home ready for next year. Underfloor heating systems for your bathrooms, washrooms, conservatories, kitchens and other areas are one of the best space-efficient and long-term cost-saving ways to heat up your home, especially as those floors are traditionally cold floors made of stone or tile.

Save space

Underfloor heating (UFH) removes the need for radiators, freeing up the space where they would typically have been. Therefore if you have a small bathroom or kitchen which falls victim to a lack of space in the first place, underfloor heating will give you the space back.

Without having a radiator, you also regain the space to freely move your furniture around the room and avoid dust traps.

Increased heat and energy efficiency

With UFH, the whole floor emits the heat rather than a select area attached to the wall so heat is distributed evenly around the entire room. This means not only does warmth spread everywhere, but it is more efficient than a radiator so your energy bills can also decrease.
