Record Set at Charity Race Day

We had a great day out at the Macmillan Charity Race day this weekend. 

All twelve amateur riders, including Ceramic Tile Merchants sponsored jockey Max Pimlott, put in a huge amount of effort to be ready for the race, training hard and raising £100,000 between them before the race had even begun. 

The winner was Jonathan Gill, riding his thoroughbred 'Relight My Fire'. 

In total, the day raised an incredible £400,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a new record. Over the race day's 45 years, a total of £6.5 million has been raised for the charity.
